Hope y'all come back...real soon,
Linda
This is the city pier...there is a small cafe
located here...talking about a
stunning view...sunsets
to die for!
Beautiful tree lined streets and
flowers galore!
I just LOVE this neat gift shop...
always filled with lots of
goodies!
Wanna know where I shop for my wardrobe? It's right right here at Hertha's...
I have been shopping here for years...you just can't bet
the prices and labels at this consignment shop!
Even the waste cans are displayed
with beautiful flowers!
Gorgeous sitting areas...when you need
a little rest after hours of
shopping!!!!
Now this shop is full of some awesome
whimsical items...it's a
must see!
We can even buy local veggies here on Church Street.
Don't you just love this amazing
artwork?
The city changes out the flower beds and baskets
every few months...they always look stunning!
What a stinkin cute name for a gift shop...love it!Look it's COTTAGE CHARM!!!!
Yes...that's my little shop located
in an antique shop in downtown
Fairhope...loved this
location!
I sure do miss this place...just sayin'!
I did a ton of business here in Fairhope, but I decided to move on
and try a new business.
As you can see...I always did my best to have it full of
treasures.
I absolutely LOVE this shop...I guess I should...the owner would come
by and purchase items from me and then mark them up for her shop...
I was always okay with it because I
still made a great profit!!!

What a quaint and charming town. Looks like a really fun place to walk around and shop. Ooh La La... so fitting! I can imagine it was an awesome place to have a shop! Looks like we'll be planning a getaway to Fairhope, someday!
ReplyDeleteToes are crossed :D
Take care,
Michelle
That reminds me so much of the Village's here in Lady Lake, Florida. There is a very lively downtown shopping district and so neat to walk and shop there. Their prices are better than the Walmart down here. Thanks for the tour. Looking forward to the house tour next.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tour! I love quaint towns like this. The shops and scenery can't be beat. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, We used to visit Fairhope often when we lived in the Florida panhandle. I loved the cute shops and little cafes. It is one of my favorite small towns. You are so right about the real estate prices!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sherry
I loved the tour, Linda. It looks like such a sweet little town and a shopping haven!! Can't beat that!! Looking forward to the house tour!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
What a beautiful little town! I love quaint little towns with so much charm! Thank you for the tour!
ReplyDeleteFabulous tour! I have a passion for quaint, charming little towns! I hope to live in one someday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour!
Cheers!
Tina
I feel like I've been on vacation with you as I sit here in the dreary dark rainy afternoon. I'm glad one of us is getting sun kissed.
ReplyDeleteI know of several people who live in Fairhope but I have never been there. I may visit next spring or summer. I would have loved your shop!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
What a sweet little town. And it still looks like summer time there. So pretty! Thanks for the tour. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW I'd be headed straight to Ooh La-la! This looks like an ideal place to spend a lovely afternoon of browsing. La
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little tour! We just got back from Savannah and I am missing the cute little shops and being close to the ocean. I would be perfectly content living near a beach, but instead here I am in Kansas... ugh!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little town! Love your blog! Thanks for stopping by mine too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a quaint little town! Just darling.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour~ this is one of our southern treasures!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little town...so charming and so cute. Mu favorite part: the flower basket trash cans. And, I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment on my blog.(-:
How charming. You gotta love a place that even decorates their trash bins. I'm enjoying our cooler weather, too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots, looks so quaint!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a BEAUTIFUL TOWN!!!! You're lucky to be there! :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, would you buy a house in NJ for 68 mil? Well, OPRAH WINFREY just might. She's in town! Take a look on my blog.
Oh, you're featuring my current home town!! I'm actually from across the bay from Fairhope in Mobile and ALWAYS wanted to live here. So, I married myself a Fairhope boy.
ReplyDeleteI do want to say that while Fairhope seems to just be full of Yuppies and Retired couples, it's not really. There's also quite a few of us artist-types/beach bums/middle class working folk. We're just not usually downtown in the middle of the day! ;)
You're pictures and descriptions are GREAT. Just like any city, Fairhope is what you make it and there are all kinds of hidden treasures! Thanks so much for featuring the great city I call home!
Looks I need to get to Fairhope for some shopping! We haven't been there in ages.
ReplyDeleteI love how they do all the flower plantings, too.
