Button Plate!

Yes...I made a BUTTON PLATE! You ask...what in the world is a BUTTON PLATE? It's a plate that you simply glue some CUTE buttons on! I was trying to decide if I wanted to add a rub-on to this cute little ORANGE plate...but I have done several plates with rub-ons and I really wanted to do something different...sooooo...buttons was my answer. Tell me what you think...have I lost it with this BUTTON idea?


I wonder what people will think when they see this displayed in my home...if I could only read minds!

    So cute! I would have never thought of putting buttons on a plate. I have some old ones I could use.

    i love it! totally simple yet beautiful.
    I would think: "how inovative! I need (read want) at least two!"

    My hubby (who makes up his own decorating terms to tease me) would say: "it looks like a giant domino! or a giant button... made out of buttons!that's button-tastic"

    Don't pay any attention to him... deep down, he's really thinking, "cool." :)haha!

    Looks good to me! Love the melon color of the plate against the brown of the buttons, it's the most chic button plate I've ever seen! :)
