Mantel Party

Simple is my STYLE!!!


My beautiful baby girl...she will be 20 next month...but she will always be my BABY!


Yes...I have wrapped BURLAP and some black ribbon on my WHITE candles...I'm lovin' the burlap and black combo...how about you?


Well how did this happen? She has a much larger pic and is front and center...she is the oldest...enough said! The real reason is...I just love this sorority pic of her and I had the perfect "OLD" frame just waiting for her to come along!

    Linda I love your mantle! The burlap and black candles are wonderful and the apothecary filled with starfish, so pretty! And of course having family pictures makes any mantle beautiful, especially when you have daughters as lovely as yours!

    Sadly we don't have a mantle "yet" in this house. We will when we win the lottery and add on, so for now my old horse pull acted as a make-shift mantle and we hung our stockings on it last winter! Right now it's draped with a starfish garland and some tiny glass crab ornaments.

    Your mantel is the perfect coastal theme. And so original. Love the burlap wrapped candles with the black ribbon. How creative and fresh! And the pictures of your beautiful daughters look great in the shabby look frames. Simple and fabulous! :-)

    Oooh...I just adore your coastal cottage mantel, my friend! Yes, it's simple but ohhh, sooo sweet! Love the black and white together...it's just classy!!! Also love your cottagy picture frames and I really love those tall candleholders...simply gorgeous! This is the first time that I've seen burlap wrapped around the candles and I love the idea...the pretty black ribbon really makes them!
