This ole gal is jumping for joy tonight, you ask why? It's because I decorated my entire house for the Christmas holidays, in just two short days!!! Yes, we got the boxes down from the attic and we have just put them back up, all in less than 48 hours. The one thing that helped this year was, I didn't put three theme trees up. Since, I didn't get started back before Thanksgiving, I decided to cut back and I am glad that I did. Now, don't think all I did was put up one tree and then called it done, oh no, I have several small trees and about eight vignettes throughout the house. Today, I only have time to share a few photos from around the house. More detail posts will be coming soon, I promise. I now need to wrap some gifts for a party and price some items for the shop. Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon.
Blessings,
Linda
I removed 1000 plus lights from the tree
and started with all fresh ones.
It was sooooo worth it!!!
I always have fun changing
up my Christmas décor from
year to year.
Using things like vintage scales
is so me.
I am very happy with how my
HOT CHOCOLATE BAR turned
out.
This cute fella almost made it to
the back door, but on the way I
found the perfect place for him.
The theme in my kitchen this year is
VINTAGE CHRISTMAS.
Aqua is the color for the
dining room this year.
As many of you already know, we
always have our AUBURN tree out
and shouting out a big WAR EAGLE!!!
I'd love for you to stay connected with Coastal Charm...so come on over and join me there!!!

You sure did accomplish a lot in just two short days. You want to come over and help me get my decorating finished, lol? Such beautiful decorations, I love the sweet driftwood nativity scene. Thanks Linda for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
ReplyDeleteI love your vintage Christmas and I love, love lights. I just couldn't do it this year. I didn't add anymore lights. The pre-lit was fine. I added lots of ornaments. I don't have a tree in every room this year either. Instead I'm just putting a little of this and that.
ReplyDeleteYea you did it! I look forward to seeing more, especially the vintage aqua.
ReplyDeleteHey, I just bought that nativity ornament today to add to my collection!

Good for you, Linda! I tried to get it done in two days, but kept losing the mood to do it. I'm not even doing that much, but have taken it a little bit every day. I'm done inside now, but need to put some things outside.
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks so pretty and I love that snowman. I didn't take any of mine out this year.
Linda, it all looks so pretty and I can't even imagine getting it all done in two days! I need you to come and push me to get mine all up and finished. I especially love the vintage ornaments.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you Tuesday!

Wow! Two days..I'm impressed. It takes me a long time to decorate our tree..not because it's really large or a theme tree, but a family tree. So many ornaments have special meaning and I love thinking of the memories attached to each. I think it would be fun to do a theme tree, too..maybe a small one. Love your vintage ornaments.
ReplyDeleteYou got a spurt of energy and creativity I'm still waiting for! Very pretty and inspiring.
