Relaxing Time At The Lake

Oh we had such a relaxing five days at the lake...just what I ordered! Yes...I ordered Mr.CC to take a break from work and go up to the lake for some laid back days and it was just what he needed. One of Mr.CC's clients has a new condo there that he had offered for us to use, so okay we will take him up and spend a few days there. While we were there, we headed over to Auburn to watch our tigers play their spring practice football game. It's hard to believe , but college football will be kicking off in just four short months...now that's exciting for these two HUGE football fans...we love college football season! As I write this today (two weeks after we were there)...this area at the lake got some damage from those awful storms on Wednesday. Please keep everyone that lost loved ones and also everyone that has suffered storm damage in your prayers. This was one massive storm and so many people are hurting...prayer is the most powerful answer...so please do pray!
Hope you are having a wonderful
Sunday and thanks for the visit,
                                                               Linda

Lucky you what a gorgeous place! I am praying, can't believe the number of lives lost. That storm started south of us. And only one tiny twister. I guess it just built up as it went along.

Linda, the lake and condo are so peaceful and beautiful that it's hard to imagine there being storm damage there. We just never know what will happen in our lives sometimes. Prayers go out for those who lost homes or loved ones. We were so thankful that the storm missed us, but so many homes here in Georgia were heavily damaged.
Thanks for stopping by with a sweet comment and I'm so pleased that you want to "copy" some of the May basket ideas. "Copying" is so much fun.

Gorgeous pics! I'm not sure which ones I enjoyed more, the condo pics or the beautiful lake pics! LOL! A nearby town to us (about an hour's drive from where we live) was hit hard by the tornadoes. So much devastation and loss. It's hard to see the pictures on t.v. of all the damage. But for the grace of God, it could have been any of us. Glad you guys are all o.k.
Hope you have a great week!

What a gorgeous place Linda! I am so glad that you took time to relax and refresh and I am so happy that you are ok from the storms. That was pretty scary.
The view that you have is beautiful, I don't think that I would ever want to leave that place. :)
