Today I thought I would share with you some more fall touches from my home...here we will see what I did with my OLD wooden dough bowl. I have owned this bowl for years now and I'm still in love with it...is that weird? It just seems to fit in, no matter where I put it...it's present home is my oversize ottoman in the family room. I have used this bowl at our beach house for several years...displaying it above the kitchen cabinets...so after we sold that house...it has been here in this house moving from room to room. Do you have a favorite decor accessory and if so...why do you like it so much?

ReplyDeleteFall decor is just the best!! I love your white pumpkins nestled in with the earthy colors. White pumpkins are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI got two small planters at St. Vinney's this week and have been doing the happy dance with my visions of decor. They cleaned up sooooo well, unbelievable. Finally, enough to post and link :)
What a wonderful dough bowl, filled with Fall...I can see why you love it, I would too. I have a pressed glass punch bowl from my Granma that I cherish....it moves from the hutch to the table and sofa table...hugs, Linda

ReplyDeleteThe old dough bowl is great. I missed out on one at an estate sale and kicked myself for that. I also like that round pine cone looking thing in the vase!

Linda,
ReplyDeleteI love your Fall decor ... especially the dough bowl! I have my grandmother's dough bowl and I love it! I remember her making biscuits in the bowl as a little girl.
Hugs,
Donna
Pretty! Love the rustic and natural vibe. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo pretty ~ I love it!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely Autumn weekend. :O)
Those colors are perfect--do you mind if I borrow it for my table? Blessings, girl :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I also love the dough bowl! I have been looking for one for a while but they can be so expensive. My favorite decor accessories are two large Italian pots that my dad gave me many years ago. They each weigh a ton and I have moved them from house to house. It takes three guys to lift each one. These are two things I will never get rid of.

I love your beautiful wooden bowl, Linda. I also like your sofa and the pillows. I use some animal prints too. Thank you so much for your well wishes for my mom. She pulled through and is doing fine....Christine
ReplyDeleteThat's a great bowl. I love what you did with it and I can see it decked out for summer, spring and winter too. No wonder you love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat wooden bowl and fall decor but I couldn't stop looking at your pillows on the sofa! Silly me!

ReplyDeleteSaw you blog through the nester site. I carve dough bowls and trencher bowls so it's always great to see how people us them.
ReplyDeleteI hope to own a dough bowl of my own someday! I love them. I recently bought a vintage typewriter and I think it will find a spot in my decor year round now!
