Decorating With Hedge Apples

Oh happy day...it's finally FALL!!! Temps keep falling, and so do hedge apples. Last weekend, Mr.CC was workng at his best friend's hunting camp, and while he was out and about on the property, he found  a lot of these bright green goodies for me, his sweetheart. I know what you are thinking, he brought home bags of hedge apples, and she was happy about it? Oh yes, she was grinning from ear to ear! I know it sounds strange to some of you, but it's the little things that make this old gal giddy. He was aware of the fact that, I LOVE to use these in my Fall decor, and it just never hurts to earn a couple of extra brownie points, does it? Oh well, enought about how I got all of these, let's now see how I have used some of them.

                      faux Fall leaves...old berry basket and a white faux
                                                 pumpkin.

                                 One found it's way to one of
                                         my vintage scales.

                        

                     Just a simple FARMHOUSE look...is just
                                   what I was looking for.

                       They were just waiting for him to come along.

                      Spanish moss is everywhere here in
                                our neck of the woods.

                         Oh how funny, that's it's the little things that
                                      make us so HAPPY!!

Coastal Charm Interiors/Cotton City Antiques

Fall is here, that means leaves are falling, and so are prices at Coastal Charm Interiors. Last week I stopped in the shop, and did some deep discounting on some wonderful items. So ladies, if you are in the area, stop by and help me move out some merchandise. Christmas is coming soon, and I need lots of room for all my holiday goodies. Nifty Thrifty Tuesday No.131

I know most of y'all are little busy bees, getting all your fall decor out in your homes. So, I'm really looking forward to getting inspired by y'all at this weeks party. I have started with mine, but things just keep getting in my way, so I'm still not finished. Mr.CC and I, spent all of last week cleaning out our storage room. Yes, you read that correctly, it took five days on that mess. It was soooo worth every minute of it. Thanks to everyone who partied here last week. Since so many of y'all entered the Goose Creek Candle Giveaway, then I would say that the winner must be, THE LUCKY ONE!! Now, who is this lucky gal? Just Had To Share This One

Hello ladies...hope everyone has started the weekend off with some fun. I hope to get to a few garage sales, bright and early on Saturday. I really need a few dressers, so please wish me some luck. While visiting around at my party this week, I came across a really cute and thrifty idea that I just had to share ASAP. This is a project that you could whip up on a lazy Saturday afternoon, so take a look, because you just might want to make your own.
