Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Giveaway...Coming Soon

I won one of these giveaways a couple of weeks ago and now since the wedding has come and gone...I can't wait to get started painting. Bridal Pics...Southern Style
When time came to decide on where Haley would get her bridal pics made...it really wasn't a hard decision...the location shoot would take place at a local SOUTHERN MANSION. The mansion was built in 1855 and it is a 13,000 sq. ft. greek revival style home...her name is...Bragg-Mitchell. The home is used for lots of weddings and wedding receptions and if there was a inside area for our band, then we would had rented this home for the reception, but you just never know how HOT it might be here on the gulf coast in late July. We were really pleased with how her pics came out...our photographers did an outstanding job...so take a look at her SOUTHERN STYLE pics...you just might need to have a glass of SWEET TEA because this mom had a hard time just picking a few pics to share with all of y'all.

Nifty Thrifty Tuesday No.72...It Was Wonderful
Hello ladies...I'm so happy to be back blogging after a week away. My week was soooo wonderful...spent several days with family and friends celebrating my daughters wedding. Everything went great with the wedding and Haley had the wedding of her dreams...I don't think I've ever seen such a calm and HAPPY bride as she was...I'm one PROUD mom to say the least. Today I'm sharing a few pics from the wedding that were taken by friends of ours. We had our photographers with us from 7:00 am-6:00 pm...so believe me...we have thousands of pics coming from the two of them. I'm still very worn out from all the fun...so I'm cutting this post short...thanks a bunch for coming by.

with tears...that girl had me crying
like crazy...it was one awesome speech!!

This Time Next Week...Also Helping A Friend
Yes...this time next week my daughter will be getting married to the love of her life. Mr.CC and I are sooooo excited and very happy to have Cam join our family. Looking forward to all the parties coming up next week...family kitchen shower will be held Thursday night...bridesmaid luncheon Friday...rehearsal dinner Friday night...then the BIG one will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday...the wedding will be at our church with the reception taking place at a local country club. We have a "motown style" band playing at the reception...looking forward to three hours of FUN, celebrating the marriage of these two. With all I have going on this week...I have decided to take the week off from my blog...want to spend all my time with my family and friends making memories to last a lifetime...so with that said...I'll see you guys here on Monday July 25 at NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAY!

More on My Blue Creek Home Disaster
Some of you may have heard that I lost my blog over the weekend. Thankfully, I had started it at blogspot.com before I purchased the domain and changed it to .com. This allowed me to continue to access the blog at the blogspot address with all of the contents intact. The problem is that any links you guys have do not come to me now and most of my internal links are broken.
The man who bought my domain (fair and square, I might add) has set up house at my old blog address (bluecreekhome.com) For the first few days when you visited, you were redirected to GoDadddy. Today, he suddenly has six or seven posts - a new header - some talk about interior design and decorating, and google adds. Please if you go over, don't click on anything. I don't want this guy to make a cent on my traffic to this address.
Find me at bluecreekhome.blogspot.com for now and please change your link address to the new blogspot address if you have my button, follow me, or have me saved to favorites/bookmark.
This has taken the wind out of my sails. I am trying to decide if it's time for a break so that I can focus 100% on little Mason and family. I will keep y'all updated.
A few of my best blog friends have offered to post this on their blog for me and I appreciate you guys. Anyone else, please feel free to copy this and post it for me -I want to keep this man from getting my traffic!
And, a word of warning to those who may own their domains - don't let it expire!!! Domain squatters are waiting like vultures in the wings to buy it. One thing I WILL NOT DO is try to buy it back from him.
