Today I'm sharing with you an awesome website that is loaded with cute cute women's dresses...so come along with me and see for yourself!!! Sharing A Kitchen Makeover With You

Hello ladies...at this weeks Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays party, Pattie over at THE SHABBY CHICK shared with us her thrifty kitchen makeover and I just had to share it with all of y'all. If you have been thinking about a kitchen makeover and don't want to spend a ton of money on it...then do what Pattie did...buy some paint and get to work...the power of paint is so unreal and soooooo very thrifty! Her makeover looks outstanding and she did it all by herself...now that's awesome in my book...what about yours? Now her kitchen was fine just like it was, but she was wanting a lighter look and I can say...I think she succeeded in getting that look! Thanks Pattie for letting me show off your beautiful new kitchen and now let's all take a look at it. Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays No.66 and a Winner

Hello ladies...I hope all of y'all had a wonderful weekend  and were able to stay "cool" in this summer heat. I spent Saturday with my girls in Birmingham...did some shopping and picked up Haley's wedding dress for her bridal pics that she will have made on the 15th. Sunday was spent making and addressing invites for her bachelorette/lingerie party that is being given by her maid of honor and that would be her little sister Mary Claire. A weekend at the beach with all the girls, now doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? Get this...I'm not invited...yes the MOB will be staying home...just where I belong...way too old for this type of weekend. We also started addressing the wedding invites and I'm very pleased with how they are looking (thank goodness). So are you wondering what thrifty ideas or treasures I have to share this week? I used some cute palm tree invites for the party that I found at a garage sale about a year ago...they were only $2 for a box of 50. The second thrifty idea I'm sharing today is...we are printing all the addresses and names for the wedding invites on our printer...Haley went with a beautiful font...so why pay for a calligrapher when you can get the look or less!!! I wish I could share the invites with you, but for privacy reasons, I better not. Okay now all of y'all know what I've been doing...let's now here what you have been doing...join the party and let's all have a good time here at NTT! All Time High Today

Oh yes...we reached 101 today here on the Alabama gulf coast...triple digits are not FUN!!! I know that a lot of you are having more rain that you want and here we have not had any...it's very HOT and DRY. It's so dry that my water bill is way up and I'm keeping busy trying to make sure all my plants and flowers have enough water to keep them alive. We are 17 inches below our average rainfall for this year and I'm sure when it starts raining, it will rain for weeks. I will say that I very concerned with all this extreme weather that our country is having...severe tornadoes...flooding and record temps. Are any of you concerned too? Just heard that a tornado has touch down in Massachusetts today and they reported that the last time this has happened was in 1954. Now let's take a look at some of my thirsty plants and flowers.
